# Expense Suggestions

> Find recurring costs worth planning for and confirm each one yourself.

Expense Suggestions reviews eligible transaction history for recurring costs. An optional checklist helps you consider costs that may not have enough history yet.

## Review the evidence

Suggestions show supporting transactions, a proposed amount, recurrence, and next due date. Monthly patterns need three observations; quarterly, semiannual, and annual patterns need two consistent observations.

Ambiguous histories are omitted. Suggestions do not discover every bill.

Pending activity, transfers, refunds, card payments, and provisional Wallet records are excluded from detection.

## Choose what to do

* **Accept:** review the Expense editor, confirm amount and dates, and choose funding schedules.
* **Already covered:** record that the cost already has a place in your plan.
* **Dismiss:** remove a suggestion you do not want to use.

## What acceptance changes

Acceptance creates one Expense with **zero balance**. It does not fund the Expense, reassign historical transactions, or create a merchant rule.

Create an explicit rule if you want future merchant matches assigned automatically.

## Checklist and shared accounts

Checklist entries leave amounts and dates for you to enter. Decisions belong to the selected budgeting account, including a shared household.

Suggestions depend on eligible visible accounts. Unsubscribing a source account hides unresolved proposals but preserves accepted Expenses and saved decisions.
